Donna has been a full time working artist since 1976, marketing her pieces at juried art fairs across the Western US.
Her distinctly unique and organic designs are arrived at by fusing wire and sheet with extreme heat while flowing, stretching, pushing and pulling the molten metal into inventive, one of a kind shapes.
Rearranging the structure of bronze, copper, sterling silver and gold and infusing it with her vision have become Donna's hallmark, giving her pieces an energy all their own.
Her awards include both First and Second Place in NonTraditional Use of Materials from the New Mexico Jewelers Association Design Competition; Best of Category at the New Mexico Arts and Crafts Fair; Best in Ornamental Jewelry at Old Towne Tempe Festival of the Arts; Best of Media at Commonwheel Festival; Top Ten at Ruidoso Arts Festival.
